Simple Shape
is home to all my illustration and photography. I am Simon Dovar
(Midwich), a London based illustrator and designer.
My distinctive illustration style is informed by my graphics background.
Utilising my obsessive collection of visual material I combine handmade
techniques with computer based work. Amongst other things I am inspired
by anatomy, the natural world, typography and architectural form.
Alongside my illustration work I jointly run the award winning
design studio Jawa and Midwich creating record sleeves, book covers
